Giclee Printing
All of my artworks are available as giclee prints, which are museum quality, archival prints, made with inkjet printing on heavyweight and textured fine art paper. On the right is a pricing table for the most common sizes, but I can print in any custom size as well. All my prints come with a one inch white border around, so the dimensions of the paper will be two inches larger on each side. For example, an 8 by 10 inch print will be printed on a paper 10 by 12 inches in size to account for border. Commissions
I would love to collaborate for a special piece! Please take a look at my gallery page so you have an idea of my painting style and then reach out to me through email or the contact form so we can bring your idea to life.
Guidelines:
- Send me a reference photo if you have one (or a few photos). It does not have to be beautiful or perfect, I can work with a regular image snapped on your phone and your vision for a painting.
- Is there anything in the photo you would like me to remove, or something you would like to add to the painting?
- If you don’t have any particular photo, describe your ideas for the painting and we can go from there.
- What colours you would like to see in the artwork?
- How big would you like the painting to be in inches?
The time frame to complete it really depends on size and details. A small work may take a few days or weeks while a larger one may take months. Take a look at my pricing table below to get a rough idea of how much an original painting would be, but note that for commissions I charge approximately twenty percent more.
Original Paintings
All my original paintings are one-of-a-kind, as I never paint the same thing again. I use my own photographs as references for my paintings, although I do sometimes enjoy having a free hand and creating a scene of my own. My process is slow and meticulous, building the painting with layers of colour and intricate brushwork. I use premium grade oil paints and either cotton or linen canvases as a surface, but I make the linen canvases myself. For smaller works and mini paintings, I sometimes use a wood surface as well.
